18-year-old Aspen is poor, young, and without a stable home or family but has dreams of becoming famous and wealthy. One day while wandering through the village she is offered an opportunity to marry the prince and have a guaranteed good life, she sees this as an easy opportunity and agrees. As she meets him and gets introduced, she realizes that royal life isn't as easy as it seems. She has to attend weekly meetings and perform royal duties all while dealing with the rude, selfish, annoying prince with a possible new heir on the way.
